Winter 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training: Everything Covered

Winter is an ideal time for yoga enthusiasts to join a 200-hour yoga teacher training program. The season’s cold weather creates a perfect environment for introspection and self-reflection. Both of these are essential for a transformative yoga journey.

Ekattva Yogshala has planned a unique winter 200-hour yoga teacher training program in Rishikesh that seamlessly blends traditional yoga teachings with modern teaching techniques. In this blog, we’ll share everything you need to know about it.

First, let us tell you why we chose to offer a 200-hour yoga teacher training program during the winter season.

Why We Choose Winter for 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training?

Our winter course is carefully crafted to guide and train students in the yogic way of life while helping them cultivate a harmonious lifestyle. We believe this season is perfect to embark on a transformative journey for several reasons including:

  • Ideal Weather: Winter in Rishikesh is known to be mild. The average temperatures at this time range from 10-20 C. Meaning, you can enjoy your practice without being overwhelmed by the heat or too much cold.

Ideal weather also helps in staying focused and energized throughout the day.

  • Peaceful Environment: Rishikesh is a popular destination for yoga enthusiasts. During the peak season, it can get quite crowded with tourists. However, you’ll see fewer people during the winter months. Meaning, you can enjoy a more peaceful and tranquil environment for your yoga practice.

  • Time for Self-Reflection: Like we said before, the winter season is often associated with introspection and self-reflection. This period of contempt and self-awareness enhances the transformative and spiritual aspects of our 200-hour yoga teacher training program.

You will have more time and space to reflect on your yoga teaching goals, intentions, and personal growth.

  • Connect with Nature: One of the biggest reasons why we planned the winter 200 hours YTT course. We believe that the cold season in Rishikesh will provide students with a great opportunity to connect with nature. Clear blue skies and lush greenery will create a serene and breathtaking environment.

They will help in creating a deeper sense of connection and grounding in

your yoga practice.
