From the diary of an Orophile [1]
I am a travel junkie and always headed to where the mountains are. I am at home here. Sometimes I get asked why I run off to the mountains at the slightest opportunity. Its difficult to understand for those who have not felt that pull or those who need comfort.
The roaming
Living in cities can be unbearable sometimes. The pressure of working in offices, burden of difficult deadlines, long-slogging hours, stretch from the multiple roles, effect of pollution on health, lesser attention to emotional and spiritual well-being, and many such factors are negatively affecting the quality of life. We often feel the need to run away from urban jungles and into the sanctuary of simple living of remote natural landscapes.
